Read and Speak

By viewing written transcripts, listeners can increase their language skills.

Each transcript is numbered. At the beginning of the broadcast, the number of the program is announced. Listeners can learn to "Read & Speak" by following the associated numbered transcript.

Creole: Salomon pase anpil tan ap reflechi sou bagay sa yo    Solomon spent a great deal of time thinking these things through,  

Creole: se le Sentespri ki te revele l bagay sa yo pou l te ekri yo.  The Holy Spirit inspired him to write these things out,   

Creole: Bi nou se pou wè le Sentespri pale avèk nou pa mwayen liv Provèb la    Our goal is to see the Holy Ghost speak to us out of the book of Proverbs,   

Creole: Apre sa, nou pral gade nan 4 levanjil yo pou nou wè kouman liv Provèb la te deja revele levanjil Jesi Kri a davans.   Then we’re going to be looking in the gospels to find out how the book of Proverbs reveals the gospel of Jesus Christ.   

Creole: Kèkfwa, sajès konn sanble you bagay ki depase nou; ki twò fò pou laj nou.   Sometimes wisdom is seen as too lofty a goal, something that we can’t reach for.   

Creole: Men annou gade nan Lik chap 4 v 18.   But, let’s look in Luke chapter four, eighteen.  

Creole: Jezi pran la paròl e li di:   Jesus speaks and He says,  

Creole: “Lespri Bondye a sou mwen paske li chwazi m pou m anonse bon nouvèl la bay pòv yo;   “The spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor.  

Creole: Li voye m pou m geri kè sa yo ki brize;   He sent me to heal the broken hearted,  

Creole: pou m fè tout prizonye yo konnen yo lage e tout avèg yo konnen y ap wè anko;”   to preach deliverance to the captives and the recovery of the sight to the blind  

Creole: pou m delivre moun y ap maltrete yo;   to set at liberty those that are bruised  

Creole: pou m fè yo konnen lè a rive pou Bondye vin delivre pèp li a.”   to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”  

Creole: M ap deklare jodi a ke lespri Bondye a ta dwe sou nou tout k ap koute la a   I’m declaring here this morning that the spirit of the Lord should be upon all of us  

Creole: Nou tout ta dwe kapab preche levanjil la bay pòv yo  We should have the ability to preach the gospel to the poor.
