The
Wisdom of Proverbs + Free Radio-Broadcast English Lessons
Focusing on third world and remote areas, A Proverb A Day is
an effort to bring forth the wisdom of Proverbs, in practical,
easy-to-understand language to people groups around the world via Christian
radio broadcasts.

Spiritually-centered English Lessons for Creole and Spanish speaking
people.
By broadcasting the local language first and the English phrase second,
listeners with some knowledge of English can grow in their knowledge of the
English language.
Transcripts of the
broadcasts are made available to everyone with access to the Internet.

international cross-cultural wisdom is priceless. A Proverb A Day
is a verse by verse study of Proverbs. An effort is made to show how the
wisdom of Proverbs is revealed in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

May 2008
A supporter agrees to finance the distribution of DVDs to 1008 radio stations
in Ibo America.
January 2008
180 30-minute Spanish/English programs and 150 14-minute Spanish Only
programs are posted to the internet.
September 2007
Our trip to COICOM 2007 in Cartagena, Colombia, South America
September 18-24, 2007 was a resounding success for launching our program “A
Proverb A Day” (UPAD).
Radio Encounter International, Inc. was proud to present our project to teach
English to Spanish speakers by the use of Proverbs at the annual Religious
Broadcasters Conference of the 25 Spanish speaking countries of the world. We
now have 160 programs translated into Spanish ready for delivery to all
interested parties.
As a promotion we fed 1,600 fortune cookies containing a quote from Proverbs to
a crowd hungry for the word of God. In addition, the following occurred:
Cuba- Publisher of recently re-licensed Christian magazine to teach English in
the churches of Cuba with Un Proverbio al Día (UPAD)
India – Large evangelistic organization to pursue translating and broadcasting A
Proverb a Day
Colombia –More than 30 radio stations receive DVDs for broadcast on Columbian
radio stations
Cartagena Colombia – Met with a group interested in building a radio station to
facilitate and coordinate their effort to organize
Ibero America – 30-YEAR-OLD RADIO MINISTRY AGREES TO MAIL UPAD DVD TO THE 1200
RADIO STATIONS ON THEIR MAILING LIST – DONOR AGREES TO COVER EXPENSES OF THE
MAILING
Canada - Solar Powered Radio Manufacturer – Galcom president seeks permission to
include UPAD series on Flash Memory chip along with Spanish bible for future
deliveries of Portable missionaries (Solar powered radios)
Bogotá, Colombia – Gospel Recordings Mexican Director tours the city with us as
we prepare to bring UPAD to indigenous language groups
Sinaloa Mexico - Radio Station - A team that previously received radio programs
reported on their success and asked for more programs
North Carolina – New Spanish-language radio station near Clinton, NC to
broadcast UPAD!
